About Our Principal

Dr.R.Umamaheswari is the Principal of Satchidananda Jothi Nikethan International school. Joining here as a Physics Teacher twenty five years ago her growth has been meticulous and a strong believer in sincerity, hardwork and drawing the best from her colleagues. She stands as an example as a team leader. She holds a Doctorate in the Psychoneurobics and has been spearheading the school for the past five years as the head of the Institution. Prior to her elevation as a Principal she was the house Mistress and Hostel In-charge for the girls section in the Age group 8-17, providing them pastoral care, love and affection.

Principal’s message

In the demanding scenario of school education today, education as a whole needs a re-look and a re-thinking. Schools are no longer considered centres for just knowledge gathering and teachers are no longer looked as ‘sage on stage.’ The invasion of technology has left a paradigm shift in children from mere subject learners to building skills – both hard and soft – that would support them as life-long learners. To meet this dynamic trend, teachers have to be teach-savvy with a human touch; parents have to be caring and responsible adults; and the school managements have to keep bringing new practical ideas into action.

To meet this ever changing trend at Satchidananda Jothi Nikethan, we focus on producing global Citizens who are holistically developed at the same time carrying the core values passed on in them over generations.
